The holidays are upon us! How do you plan to decorate your home? From white trees to red ribbon, there are plenty of ideas to spark your creativity – these are a few we recommend:
The door is the literal gateway to your home as well as the essential design starting point. It should look inviting, while not overbearing. If you have rails on your steps, it is customary and charming to wrap lit garlands on the guardrails of the stairs or balconies, and place a wreath on the door. In some cases, you may be able to put the wreath above the door. While some prefer their wreaths lit, depending on the house, a small unlit wreath can add a more natural look.
Wrap all your trees in white lights to create a uniformed and clean look for your home’s exterior.
If you have a colonial style home, wrap your columns in garland and white lights to brighten up the front of your house.
Hang lit wreaths on every window or on the side of your home near the roof. Tie a red ribbon for a festive touch.
