Putnam Cottage will be celebrating its 250 Anniversary in 2026 and this ‘Kitchen Garden’ with its kitchen & medicinal herbs will offer visitors an insight into how the colonial people lived around 1776.
The garden was flourishing at the time of their work and the team was careful and respectful of the planting. Jose answered all of our questions and made sure that we were aware of every step.Thank you so much for this gift to the Putnam Cottage and to the Greenwich community.

Summer Rain did a great job fixing our outdoor lighting system. Unsafe wiring was replaced, and thanks to Bill Foscato’s design suggestions, we were able to reduce the number of light fixtures around the yard for a much better overall effect. Now my lighting maintenance doesn’t cause me headaches because I know their competent team is only a phone call away!

Recently, I had my sprinkler system winterized by your company… Oscar always services my system and is very efficient, extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable.

Yesterday, I called because a substantial amount of water had accumulated in and around the outside irrigation control units, and I thought there might be a leak in the system. I received prompt and courteous assistance from the woman who took my call. And within a few hours, a young man was diligently working away trying to determine the problem. He too was very courteous, also patient and thorough in his inspection of the site… I want to commend the two employees of Summer Rain with whom I dealt yesterday, especially the young man who came to my house. For that matter, I should also mention that I have always received equally good service on all levels from those who perform the annual start-up/shut-down services. Thanks to all at Summer Rain.
